Here’s a Practical Way to Boost Your Nonprofit’s Legal Savvy


Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta is offering its four-session PBPA Legal Bootcamp for Emerging Nonprofit Leaders this fall. Applications close on August 22. This program equips executive directors with essential legal knowledge and ready-to-use policies that keep organizations safe and sustainable.

Who It’s For

This bootcamp is designed for executive directors of Georgia nonprofits that:

  • Serve low-income or disadvantaged communities.

  • Have at least three unrelated board members.

  • Report annual revenue between $50,000 and $500,000.

  • Run at least one active program.

  • Hold or are pursuing 501(c)(3) status (or operate under a fiscal sponsor).


Schedule

The sessions are scheduled as follows:

  • Tue, Sep 16 | 10 a.m.–3 p.m.

  • Tue, Sep 30 | 10 a.m.–3 p.m.

  • Tue, Oct 28 | 10 a.m.–3 p.m.

  • Tue, Nov 11 | 10 a.m.–3 p.m.


Curriculum Highlights

Participants will cover topics such as:

  • Board roles.

  • Staff and volunteer management.

  • Compliance essentials.

  • Risk management.


By the end of the bootcamp, participants may leave with customized policies, including liability waivers and financial procedures.


Cost

The total cost is $75, which includes lunch.
