- Fall 2025 Project Highlights: Real‑World Examples of Our Impact
As the Fall 2025 cycle comes to a close, Community Consulting Teams (CCT) Atlanta is proud to celebrate a season defined by collaboration, expertise, and meaningful community impact. This fall, 52 dedicated volunteers came together across 9 pro bono consulting projects, partnering with Atlanta-area nonprofits to deliver strategic solutions that strengthen organizations and expand their capacity to serve. A Season of Meaningful Work Throughout the Fall 2025 cycle, CCT volunteers applied their professional skills to address some of the most critical challenges facing nonprofits today—ranging from strategic planning and financial sustainability to marketing, donor engagement, and operational efficiency. Each project reflects CCT’s mission to amplify nonprofit impact through high-quality, executive-level consulting delivered on a pro bono basis. Project Spotlights Covenant House Georgia: The team partnered with Covenant House Georgia to revise its strategic plan and develop a communications roadmap. The work supports the organization’s mission to provide unconditional love and comprehensive support to youth experiencing homelessness and escaping trafficking, helping position the organization for long-term growth and clarity of purpose. Giving Kitchen: CCT volunteers worked with Giving Kitchen leadership to create a national Growth Plan for the Stability Network Program. Deliverables included recommendations for program improvements, a scalable national growth strategy, and a practical implementation plan—supporting Giving Kitchen’s nationwide efforts to assist food service workers in crisis. LaAmistad: The LaAmistad project focused on a comparative analysis of compensation and benefits, identifying opportunities to align salaries with peer nonprofits and strengthen employee retention strategies. The work supports LaAmistad’s mission to prepare students and families for academic and life success. Christian-David Healthy Pet Clinic / HSNEGA Foundation: This team helped document shelter and operational costs while contributing to a strategic plan for 2025–2026. The project delivered a prioritized list of improvement initiatives and actionable next steps to help the organization serve people and homeless animals more effectively across Northeast Georgia. Backpack Buddies of Metro Atlanta: Volunteers delivered data-driven insights through donor segmentation, a giving analysis dashboard, and donor engagement and corporate sponsorship toolkits. The project also included training sessions to ensure Backpack Buddies staff can confidently use these tools to support food-insecure children across Metro Atlanta. South Fork Conservancy: CCT supported South Fork Conservancy with market research across four stakeholder groups and the development of a comprehensive Strategic Marketing Plan. The deliverables included brand positioning, messaging, campaign recommendations, and a three-year phased implementation roadmap, helping advance conservation and public access goals along the South Fork Peachtree Creek. The STEAM Generation: This project focused on designing a fundraising strategy and actionable roadmap to grow individual and corporate donor support. The team identified key funding levers, engagement and retention strategies, and performance metrics to strengthen long-term sustainability. Aurora Day Camp: CCT volunteers helped Aurora Day Camp build a strong foundation for growth and financial stability. The project clarified strategic goals, assessed governance and operations, evaluated market positioning, and reviewed financial sustainability—supporting the organization’s mission to bring joy to children with cancer and their siblings at no cost to families. Every Color Matters: The team partnered with Every Color Matters to strengthen organizational identity, clarify differentiation, and assess strategic risks and opportunities. The work positions the organization for greater impact, visibility, and funding growth in its efforts to support communities touched by cancer.
